One last time with Tomi in Vienna. There are announcements one writes full of anticipation. And then there are those where every word carries a little more weight. On 8 August, Thomas Grün will step behind the decks in Vienna one last time before our Partner in Groove steps away from Vienna’s club scene to devote himself to his greatest passion: music production. Almost two decades of Pompadour, countless nights together and a musical friendship that could never be squeezed into a few lines. So we won’t even try. Instead, we’ll do what we have always done best: celebrate together. And because an occasion like this, however bittersweet it may be for us, deserves to be celebrated with the right soundtrack, we have invited Thomas Stieler from Germany. Unmoved by short-lived hype, he explores house in all its facets: sometimes classic, sometimes deep, sometimes minimal, always with plenty of drive and occasionally damn close to techno. Together with Tostavica, Philipp Blecha and, of course, Thomas Grün, we’ll revel in the finer side of life.
